Alice grew up surrounded by the beautiful rolling fields and thick woodlands of the Surrey countryside. An only child with lots of alone time, fantasy fiction, film and games took a front seat in Alice's formative years, fuelling her love for story telling and the escapist nature of complex imaginary worlds such as Narnia, Discworld, Hyrule, the Marvel and DC universes, Middle Earth and Wonderland.

Volunteering at the G. F. Watts Gallery during 2011 and 2012 fuelled a growing obsession for Victorian era art, specifically the Pre-Raphaelite and Art Nouveau movements. All these loves converged, influencing Alice's work in the form of rural landscapes, floral and fairytale elements. After a 4 year long position as graphic designer for a Surrey based personalised gift company, Magic Cabin Studios was born, named after the witches hut Alice calls home.

Alice's extensive experience in illustration and product design has helped companies convey their brand identities simply and succinctly for over ten years, creating a wide range of posters, packaging, illustrations, album artwork and interior design products for both corporate and local business sectors.

Alice's work has been featured in publications such as
The TelegraphThe Metro, The Guardian‘s Weekend Magazine and Notonthehighstreet.com‘s advertising campaigns.
